Minutes:

At its meeting held on 9 March 2017 the committee resolved to publish a draft resolution for public consultation under Paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 4 to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, to designate all streets within the district as ‘consent streets’ for the purposes of street trading.

The committee considered a report from the head of legal and democratic services which stated that there had been no responses to the consultation and, accordingly, recommended adoption of the resolution to designate all streets within the district as ‘consent streets’ for the purposes of street trading.

(b)       authorise the head of legal and democratic services to do all things necessary to give effect to the said resolution.
