Council committee meetings are now online
We are now conducting council committee meetings online via video conferencing. Councillors will use Microsoft Teams to take part in meetings and you can watch the proceedings online using a link we will publish on the meeting agenda pages of our website five days prior to the meeting. You can find the meeting agendas page by clicking on the meeting name in our Calendar of Meetings. We will also publish the link to each meeting via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
View a meeting
If you wish to view a meeting, please visit the agenda page and click on the video link – this will be made available five days prior to the meeting.
Taking part in a meeting
While we are getting used to holding meetings in this new way, if you wish to take part in a meeting you will need to submit a statement or question by email in advance – it will then be sent to councillors before the meeting. In order for your contribution to be included you must email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12noon two working days before the meeting – you will then receive an email confirming the meeting details and a link to the video so you can watch the live proceedings. Once we are confident that these new online meetings can be carried out effectively and within the guidelines, we will look to introduce online public participation by video.
Meeting dates are subject to change. When looking for details of a particular meeting, please contact the relevant officer to confirm that the meeting is going ahead as scheduled.
Alternatively you can subscribe to updates in order to receive information via e-mail regarding arrangements for particular committee meetings.
Agendas and reports are published about a week before the meeting and draft minutes are published a few weeks after the meeting.
