The River Thames Champion will network with stakeholders and other councils, attend relevant meetings of engagement organisations and act as a point of contact within the council to provide councillors and relevant officers with knowledge and advice on opportunities for the protection and enhancement of the biodiversity and cleanliness of the River Thames and promote the River Thames for sustainable leisure and tourism activities as part of a thriving and healthy local community.
