Licensing Panels are made up of
three members from the Licensing Acts Committee listed
below.
They consider casework for
premises licences (for selling alcohol and regulated
entertainment), and some applications for personal licences, under
the Licensing Act 2003 and under the Gambling Act 2005.
The rules for these panels are
different to those of a committee. Hearings about premises are open
to the public.
You can only speak to the panel
if you must have written to the council during the consultation
period for a premises licence. If you did this, you will receive
written notice of the hearing and the procedures to
follow.
